Mars Employment, Inc. offers Permanent Placements. Our fees are computed on a contingent basis and are payable if, and only if, you engage the services of a candidate that has been referred to you directly or indirectly through our efforts. Our services are provided on an employer fee paid basis, meaning you or your company shall be responsible for the payment of our fees. The fee is payable should you or your affiliate engage a candidate for any position within one (1) year after our most recent communication relating to that candidate. Candidates are referred to you in confidence. Should you refer or otherwise identify a candidate to another company, which hires the candidate, you and the hiring company shall be responsible for the payment of the fee. In the event that the terms and conditions contained herein do not reflect your understanding, please call us immediately. Should you hire one of these candidates for any position with your company, you have agreed that you, or your company will pay a fee equal to 1% per thousand dollar of the candidate's first year compensation, not to exceed 30% of the candidate's first year compensation. In the event that the employment of the candidate hired is terminated within sixty (60) calendar days of the date of said candidate's starting date, Mars Employment agrees to make one (1) replacement at no additional charge. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the candidate's employment is terminated for lack of work, revisions to scheduled duties or position elimination, we are entitled to our entire agreed upon service fee. This guarantee shall be your sole remedy. The guarantee is only valid if payment of our service fees is received, in full, within ten (10) days from the date the candidate commences employment. You will be invoiced when the candidate is hired. The invoice will be due net upon starting date. All service fees unpaid for more than thirty (30) days after the candidate's starting date shall bear interest at the rate of one and one-half (1.5%) per month from the candidate's starting date. In addition, you will be responsible for the payment of any costs of collection, including attorney's fees, incurred on any unpaid balances. Mars Employment, Inc. offers the option of Temporary to Permanent Placements. This option involves a trial period whereby you and the candidate are provided an opportunity to evaluate one another in all aspects of the working environment. During that time, we support your firm by presenting, interviewing, and performing administrative and payroll functions, including wages and taxes. Upon mutual agreement, the employee is eligible to become a regular staff member of your business, after working 640 hours. Buy out is available on a prorated basis. Mars Employment, Inc. offers the option of Contract Employees and Temporary Placements. This is an efficient and beneficial method used to cover vacation periods, handle special projects or additional workloads, or provide the additional needed support for unpredictable business trends. A placement fee will be due to Mars Employment, Inc. if you hire any employee assigned to you, regardless of the employment classifications, on either a permanent, temporary, or contract basis within 12 months of the last day of the assignment period or the last day our employee was paid by us for your assignment period (whichever occurs first).
